With the help of this forum I managed to circumvent that problem by setting bt.allow_same_ip to true. I do not know why, but this does no longer work. Currently I have at most one incomming connection per torrent, and I cannot find the setting "bt.allow_same_ip" under preferences/advanced anymore.

Oct 29, 2013 · Now change bt.allow _ same _ ip value from false to true. Change bt.connect _ speed value from 7 to 130. Change dht.rate value from -1 to 2. Change gui.show _ notorrents _ node value from true to false. Change net.max _ halfopen value from 100 to 120. Change rss.update _ interval value from 15 to 20. Finally click on apply. That’s all and you bt.allow_same_ip 찾아 이 값을 true로 변경. dht.rate 값을 2로 변경. rss.update_interval의 값을 20으로 설정해줍니다. 오른쪽 위의 필터를 이용해서 위의 항목을 쉽게 찾을 수 있습니다. Setting uTorrent to NOT connect to duplicate ips (in advanced settings, bt.allow_same_ip set to TRUE)prevented qBT from making a 2nd (and probably more) connections to it, but did not prevent qBT from attempting to make a 2nd connection.
